    Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., referred to as Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, is a wholly state-owned company authorized by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government to operate and manage state-owned assets. It is China's largest traditional Chinese medicine manufacturer and owns 12 Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine companies acquired through a public-private partnership in 1956.       Founded in October 1996. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group currently controls a listed company, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical, which is listed in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The group also has a number of wholly-owned and joint-stock subsidiaries.

       In 2021, it appeared on the Fortune Global 500 list for the first time, ranking 468th.

On February 23, 2023, GPHL established the Nasopharyngeal Qingdu Granules Scientific Research Fund to carry out scientific research in this field.
